Over 100 Allied Health professionals on Monday besieged the Ministry of Health to demand postings 9 months after the completion of their programmes of study.

The bonded un-posted qualified allied health professionals claim government has refused to issue clearance letters to them – a situation that has left them jobless 9 months after the completion of their programmes of study and National Service.

“We completed school in 2015 and we did National Service in August 2016. It’s been 9 months now and we haven’t been cleared, they are taking us for granted because we are bonded. The painful thing is that they have cleared over 4000 registered nurses including those who completed 2 months ago. We are just 495 yet government is refusing to clear us”, Vice President of the group, Collins Agyemang told GhanaWeb.

He said members of his association are ready to relocate to the Ministry of Health if that is what it will take to get government’s attention.

“We will sleep here even if it will take one month we will still be here”, he added
