Minister to explain proposed change in academic calendar

Some Members of Parliament have requested the Education Minister to brief the House on the proposed change in the academic calendar. They contended that any issue on education must be extensively discussed to ensure that it is in the interest of the students and the nation's development. The invitation came from Commodore Steve Obimpeh (rtd) NDC Member for North Dayi and it was supported by Squadron-Leader C.M. Sowu (rtd), NDC Member for Anlo, Mr Steve Balado, NPP Member for Ahafo Ano South and Mr Hackman Owusu-Agyeman, NPP Member for New Juaben North.
