Maxwell Konadu: "Thomas Partey is making us proud"

Black Stars assistant coach Maxwell Konadu has given youngster Thomas Partey thumbs up for reaching the UEFA Champions League final.

Konadu has been impressed with the performance of the budding midfielder in the world's most prestigious inter-clubs competition.

On Tuesday night, Partey played a cameo as his Spanish side lost 2-1 at the Allianz Arena but advanced on the away goals rule after a 2-2 aggregate scoreline.

Konadu has been following the exploits of the 22-year-old and Tweeted: "Thomas Partey is making us proud, and he's lifting the flag of Ghana very high, another Ghanaian is in the champions league finals."
