Mahatma Otoo scores brace in seven-goal thriller

Ghanaian forward Mahatma Otoo scored his fourth goal in four days for his Sogndal side in Noway.

Otoo who grabbed a brace on Sunday to aid Sogndal qualify to Norwegian top flight with three games to spare was handed another start against Kristiansund BK which he repaid the faith by scoring another two on Wednesday night.

The Ghana international opened the scoring seven minutes into kick-off with Jonas Roenningen equalizing for away side Kristiansund BK.

The former Hearts of Oak player scored his second to restore the lead as Sogndal went into the interval 2-1 up.

Kristian Fardal Opseth doubled the lead for Sogndal after the break but the away side quickly pulled on back.

Thomas Drage made it 4-2 in favour of Otoo’s side before a late goal from Dan Peter Ulvestad for Kristiansund BK ended the game at 4-3.

Mahatma Otoo played the full game for home side Sogndal without a booking.
