Mahama to commission new Cape Coast Stadium today

Ghana president John Dramani Mahama will commission the newly constructed Cape Coast Stadium today (Tuesday).

The stadium was funded with a Chinese grant of US$ 33 million and constructed by the China Jiangxi Cooperation for International Economic and Technical Cooperation

Ghana’s U20 team will play China’s U19 side in the main stadium opener.

There will also be other activities, including music and dance, line-up as part of activities marking the opening of the ultra-modern facility.
