Let Students Srudy Subject Of Their Interest - Judge Tells Parents, Guardians

Ashaiman (GAR), Aug. 4, - A Kumasi high court judge, Mr Justice Anthony Abada, yesterday called on parents and guardians to encourage their wards to study subjects in which they have interest. It is advantageous for pupils to develop their talent right from school by learning subjects they like since all sectors of education are important and are needed to support the economy. Mr Justice Abada said this in his closing remarks as chairman of the tenth anniversary celebrations of St John's Academy at Ashaiman at the weekend. He said pupils who are forced to learn subjects against their wish do not perform well in their final examinations. He urged parents to provide the school needs of their children to encourage them to learn. Mr Justice Abada asked the management of the Academy to provide permanent structures to create a congenial environment for teaching and learning.
