Latif Blessing honoured by wearing 10-jersey at Liberty

Sensational Liberty Professional winger Latif Atta Blessing says he is honoured to have been handed the number 10 jersey at the club for the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League.

The history of the number 10 jersey the world over has it that great players such as Maradona, Ronaldinho, Lionel Messi and Abedi Pele have handled the ten jersey and the player feels honoured to have followed been handed the jersey.

Great players of the Liberty set-up such as Micheal Helegbe and immediate-past captain of the side Kennedy Ashia were all handlers the number 10 jersey.

“I am really honoured to have been given the 10-jersey. I am highly happy to follow the footsteps of players like Micheal Helegbe and Kennedy Ashia,” Latif Blessing told GHANAsoccernet.com

“The 10 jersey has always been handled by great players like Maradona, Messi, Abedi Pele and Dede, and am happy to join them.”

The instrumental dribbler however admitted that great responsibility will rest on his shoulders with the 10 jersey.

“I know being given the 10 jersey will come with great responsibility but I know my team mates will help me to live up to the task.”

Blessing, 20, was the runner up as the most promising player after the 2014/15 Ghana Premier League.
