Adam Kwarsey is hoping to help his team Portland Timbers secure an important victory when they take on Columbus Crew in the finals of the Major League Soccer on Sunday.

The Norwegian-born Ghanaian is in pole position to clinch his second trophy since joining the Club from Stromgodset.

Kwarasey helped Timbers to win Western Conference League at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old is eyeing a win over their counterparts on Sunday.

"The same way we had to win that game (in September), they also had to win that game and we were still able to beat them with their strongest team," the 27-year-old said in a Press briefing on Saturday.

"That, of course, gives us the belief that we can do it again on Sunday," he added.

Countryman Harrison Afful is also expected to feature for Columbus Crew on Sunday after helping them to advance to the finals with a 2-1 aggregate score New York Red Bull.
