Accra, Nov. 26, GNA - An estimated 60,000 Jehovah Witnesses from Europe and Africa would converge on Ghana to attend a four-day international convention as part of the global convention, taking place on six continents.

The convention, which is the first to be held in Ghana, is scheduled to take place from December 11-14 in Accra, Kumasi, Koforidua, Tarkoradi and Ho.

Briefing the media in Accra on the convention, Mr Daniel Obimpeh, a Member of the Planning Committee, said the convention, which would be under the theme: "Give Glory to God" would have about 7,000 international delegates from 17 countries.

He said the convention would feature discourses, discussions and real life experience. A water immersion ceremony would be organized at the various convention centres after a talk on the subject.

"A situation like this will afford a fine opportunity for the thousands of delegates to experience the true spirit of unity within the international brotherhood", Mr Obimpeh said.

Topics to be treated include: "Glorious Prophetic Visions Spur Us On"; "Our Children- A Precious Inheritance" and "Who Are Giving God Glory Today?"

The international delegates would as part of their visit, tour tourists' sites including Kakum National Park, Volta Lake and Mole Game Reserve.
