Former Black Stars winger Otto Addo says his appointment as the assistant coach of Danish side FC Norddsjaelland is a great opportunity for young Ghanaian players.

Addo, 40, was appointed the head coach of the Danish side on Friday and will start working with the other technical team members on Monday.

Ahead of commencing duty, the talented and skillful former Black Stars winger says his appointment is a great opportunity for young Ghanaian players.

It will be recalled that the Danish club has recently been taken over by CEO of Right To Dream Academy and Addo says it is the right club for talented Ghanaian footballers to get the proper progress.

“It is a great opportunity for young Ghanaian talents to prosper as the Right To Dream Academy will serve as a feeder club to FC Nordsjalland,” Otto Addo told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“I played for Ghana and I know the talents in the country. I’ve seen a lot of young Ghanaian players performing very well in Europe. So this is a good opportunity for us as a country to capitalize on very well.”

Addo added that the opportunity will not only be for budding Ghanaian talents, but talented Danish players as well.

“Like I said it will not be an opportunity for only Ghanaian players but Danish players as well. This is a young club but we hope to do great things with it.”
