I'm not surprised at Hearts' strong start - Herbert Addo

Herbert Addo Herbert Addo

Former Hearts of Oak Coach Herbert Addo says he is impressed with the sort of start Hearts of Oak have had to the season but is determined to halt their progress this weekend.

Addo, who endured a disappointing time with the Phobians last season, says he expected the Phobians to get the kind of start they have had.

Addo will take on the Phobians for the first time since leaving them last season but says his side will have to be at their best if they are beat the in-form.

“I am not surprised about their start. Hearts of Oak are a very big club,” Addo told Adom FM.

“They criticized the coach labelling him a carpenter but he is working well and getting the results.”

“The players are also experienced. They have been together since last year when I was with them. They are the same players there with the addition of one or two others.”

“They are playing and one of the stable teams in the league alongside Medeama, Wa All Stars and Ashantigold.”
