I am qualified to chair Referees App'ment C'ttee - Eddie Doku

Ghana Football Association Executive Committee Nii Kormiete Doku insists he has the requisite know-how to chair the Referees Appointment Committee.

The Greater Accra Regional Football Association chairman was a surprise choice for the sensitive position.

"I was a shocked to be given this appointment because it is a difficult sector to serve," Doku told Kumasi-based Nhyira FM.

"But then the job must be done and I have been appointed to head that division so I have no choice but to deliver."

Doku is also chairman of the CHAN management committee.
