I am not in contention with anyone for goal king - Bekoe

Sekondi Hasaacas striker Eric Bekoe says he is not in contention with any player for this season’s goal king title.

Bekoe, who joined Sekondi Hasaacas, this season has scored eight goals in fifteen games for the Sekondi-based side.

On the top scorer’s chart, he is lying third behind Aduana striker Yahaya Mohammed and Latif Blessing of Liberty Professionals.

The former Asante Kotoko striker who will look to increase his tally when they host Accra Hearts of Oak next Sunday says he is not competing with any player for the top scorer award.

“Am not in competition with anyone. I move at my own pace because the race is not for the swift but rather is God, who shares favour,” Bekoe told ocsportsnews.com
