Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has dismissed widespread reports he has sustained yet another injury in an exclusive interview with GHANAsoccernet.com.

Several reports covered in the Italian media which was picked up by various news outlets in Ghana suggested the Juventus star has suffered yet another injury setback.

Asamoah was excluded from Juventus’ squad in the weekend’s 3-1 win over Fiorentina to spark fears of yet another setback in the 27-year-old’s protracted battle with injury.

The reports went on to say that the former Udinese man will require up to a month to regain fitness from his latest setback.

This sad report even saw the chairman of his juvenile club – Asokwa Deportivo – Amidu Kamarat call for special prayers to help the Ghana international get over his recent challenges with injuries.

But the talented midfielder has dismissed these reports, insisting he has been training very well at his Italian club.

“I am feeling very good, I have been training very well with my teammates,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com in an exclusive interview.

“I am not injured. I just finished another training session with my club and it went really well.”

Kwadwo Asamoah has rarely played for Juventus since undergoing surgery in November 2014 to fix a nagging knee problem.

He has since endured a stop-start campaign where several attempts to make a sustained return to the first team has been hampered by minor injury setbacks.

He last played for Juventus on December 4, where he helped the side to an impressive 2-0 win over Lazio.
