Hmd-Forewin bags awards at Ghana Construction Awards

HMD-Forewin, a leading network of heavy machinery and building equipment suppliers operating in West Africa was honoured at the recently held Ghana Construction Awards 2015. The construction equipment company won two awards namely ‘Excellence in Customer’ and ‘Construction Equipment Supplier of the Year.

The awards were presented at a colourful ceremony held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel on 28th November, 2015. The event brought together top guns in the industry to celebrate the achievements of the construction sector and its contribution to Ghana’s infrastructural development. This year’s edition was under the theme “Celebrating Excellence for National Development’.

Receiving the award on behalf of the company, Mark Bacon, General Manager, HMD-Forewin Ghana, said, “We are pleased that the Ghana Construction Awards has recognized the work and investment we have made in the industry. Our commitment to the industry is unrivalled and we will continue to be the best at what we do”.

Speaking at the Award ceremony, Akin Naphtal, CEO of organizers InstinctWave, said, “We warmly congratulate all those honoured today. We are very proud to be the pioneer of celebrating a vital industry like construction.”

Considered the construction industry’s premier annual awards program, over 20 projects were honoured across 25 different categories. Over 15 companies and were also recognized for their highly successful and exceptional contribution to the industry.

“It is an incredible achievement to be announced as an award winner today, as the high calibre of nominees is a true reflection of the dynamic, professionalism and excellence, attributes that will drive this industry in the following years,” Mr Naphtal added.

According to Mr Bacon, “This award is a true reflection of our hard work and effort to give our customers the best of service. This recognition is true testament of the value we have placed in service delivery and client satisfaction”.

The night was full of fun and excitement as the movers and shakers of the industry were treated with entertainment and performances from ace comedian Hogan.

The Ghana Construction Awards is designed to celebrate the continued growth and success of the construction industry whiles recognizing and rewarding excellence in service delivery, professionalism and innovation.
