Hearts of Oak will be seeking redemption when they face Al Ahli in the return encounter of their double-friendly on Friday.

The Phobians were crashed 3-0 in their first match against the Libyan giants on Tuesday.

Hearts, despite the heavy defeat, have been lauded for bringing some joy to the people of Libya who have not enjoyed football in a long while due to the civil war.

The Ghanaian club was able to sellout a sizeable crowd at the 80,000 capacity International Stadium in Tripoli.

But Hearts spokesman Kwame Opare Addo, says the team is determined to redeem themselves from the heavy defeat.

“We don’t want to leave this country without putting things right,” he said.

“The first defeat was bad enough and the players are really eager to turn things around today [Friday].

“We must make our presence here count for something and that is what we intend to do today.”

Hearts traveled to Libya for the friendly matches on the invitation Al Ahli.

The Phobians are using the games as parts of their preparations ahead of the 2015/16 season.
