Health Centre For Sunyani

Half Assini (Western Region), 10, Oct. The government is to build a health centre at Samenye in the Jomoro District as part of its efforts to improve health delivery in the area. This will bring to five the number of health facilities provided by the government in the district. The existing ones are at Half Assini, Ekabaku, Tikobo Number One and Elubo. Mr Joseph Emmanuel Ackah, MP for Jomoro, announced this when he addressed the second ordinary session of the Jomoro District Assembly yesterday. Mr Ackah said the health centre will be provided under the Rural Health Services project and the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) fund for International Development. He said eight school pavilions will be built at Ezinlibo, Ellenda Twenene, Adusuazo, Anlomatuape, Nzemetiane, Compound and Ankasa.
