The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has directed its clients to other outfits where tax transactions are still operational.

The directive follows the fire outbreak at its headquarters at Kwame Nkrumah Circle on the Ring Road.

In a statement issued and copied to Ghanacrusader.Com said, relevant authorities are investigating the circumstances leading to its Circle offices going up in flames on Sunday.

According to them, although no lives, cash or cheques were lost, the inferno caused “extensive damage.”

It said, “the fire outbreak affected the Large Taxpayers Office, the Adabraka Medium Taxpayers Office and some staff from GRA Head office.”

It has therefore directed that, “all LTO taxpayers should transact their business at the Kinbu Sub LTO located at the GRA head office (Ministries).

Also, the Adabraka Medium taxpayers are expected to transact their business at the Adabraka small taxpayer office located near the Adabraka Police station.
