Free State Stars to test Ghana striker Emmanuel Clottey

Free State Stars are expecting the arrival of striker Emmanuel Clottey for a trial session.

His audition will be supervised by the club’s new head coach Denis Lavagne.

Ea Lla Koto are keen on signing a top-rated striker and they believe the 2012 CAF Champions League top scorer could fit the bill.

"Free State Stars are interested in Emmanuel Clottey from Ghana. He is coming here for a trial with the team," a source close to the club told Soccer Laduma.

"The club has booked a flight and all the travel arrangements have been made for him to come here for a trial. He is set to arrive before the weekend."

Free State Stars finished 12th in the Absa Premiership last season.
