In-form Anderlecht winger Frank Acheampong claims he has been invited for Ghana’s back-to-back matches against Mozambique in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Acheampong has been banging in the goals for his Belgian side in the league and in the Europa-where he was named in the Team of the Week after last week’s last 16 first leg tie.

Last Sunday, the former Berekum Chelsea player netted one of the goals in the 3-0 over Kortrijk in the Jupiler League.

“Yeah, everything is okay. I have been called. I was even heading to church when I was informed,” Acheampong told a source close to Dailysoccerghana.net.

The 22-year-old’s purple patch of form will be key for the Black Stars when they host the Mambas on 24 March in Accra in the first leg.
