Former VP Mills Offered a Job

Flt. Lt. JJ Rawlings yesterday revealed that former Vice President Atta Mills is being offered by a job as an international roving peacemaker, similar to the functions performed by the late former President of Tanzania, Julius Nyerere. He said he knew that the NPP Government had spoken to him about the job but he wondered whether Mills himself is privy to that information. Rawlings suggested that he is of the opinion that Mills would be patriotic enough to want to stay in Ghana and refuse to take up the job.
