Fleisher to handle Hearts- Edubiase clash as league starts

The Referees Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has named referee Cecil Fleisher to direct affairs from the middle as Hearts of Oak engage New Edubiase in match day one of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The elite competition, which was suspended due to legal issues involving Dreams FC and Tema Youth and Techiman City and Wa Africa United is scheduled to kick start at the various centers this weekend.

At the Accra Sports Stadium, Fleisher will get assistance from Ben Vormawor, Sam O. Boateng, and Sylvester Adzoku as the fourth official as the two teams battle for their first win of the season.

Elsewhere, at the Tema Park, Aduana and Inter Allies will take direction from Referee Patrick Kyeremanteng with Sarfo Adade, Frank Bossman assisting on the sidelines and Ernest Barfi as the fourth official.

In Bechem Referee Solomon Mordey will officiate the fixture when debutants Bechem United battle Liberty Professionals. Mordey will be assisted by Paul Atimaka, Shine Ayittey, and Dally Gabga whilst Seidu Bomison will be the center of the game involving newly promoted Ebusua Dwarfs and Dreams FC in Obuasi. Eric Nantiere, Badiu Alhassan, and Nuhu Liman as the fourth official.

Referee Joseph Lamptey has been appointed to officiate the fixture involving defending champions Ashgold and FA Cup Lords Medeama at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium. He will be assisted by David Laryea and Ibrahim Adams on the lines with J.A Amenya as the fourth official.

The referees committee appointed Reginald Lathbridge to handle Wa All Stars and Hassacas encounter at the WA Park. Murtala Mohammed, Richard Appiah, and O.B Amankwah are mandated to support the center man whilst Desmond Abbey, Dawood Ouedrago, Bawa Haruna and Theresa Bremasu officiates Techiman City, Chelsea clash in Techiman.

At the Sogakope Park on Saturday, William Agbovi will direct WAFA, Kotoko game with assistance from Effah Tetteh, Alex Anim and Timothy Obuobisa as the fourth referee.
