Easter - Takoradi

In Takoradi, Reverend Kojo Impraim, Takoradi District Pastor of the Assemblies of God Church, on Sunday said the unity of the country should be the top priority of the government. Preaching at a Easter Service at the Takoradi Central Assemblies of God Church, he said bringing together of the people should be the top priority of the President because without a united front, the country cannot achieve its economic objectives.

Reverend Impraim said people should not be recognized on the basis of their political party affiliations and party labels so that the country could move forward with a united people with a common destiny. He spoke against fanning ethnicity by politicians as this would not in any way help the country to advance. Reverend Impraim urged politicians to stop taking advantage of ethnicity and inciting young people to violence. He said the people need to allow the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ to transform the society in a positive way. Reverend Impraim said the country needs a change in its moral fiber and politics for the better adding hatred, contradictions and vices would not help the people.

He said the transformation must be seen in the lives of individuals and the nation so that the blessings of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ could be enjoyed by all. MORE TRS/REA
