Easter - Klefe

At Klefe in the Volta Region, Christians were reminded that the resurrection of Jesus Christ was an assurance to Christians that set-backs in life could be overcome with perseverance and faith in God. The Very Reverend Dr Livingstone Buama, immediate past Moderator of the General Assembly of the E. P. Church gave the exhortation at Easter Sunday and centenary thanksgiving service of the Church, The celebration was under the theme "I shall not die, but live and proclaim the works of the Lord".

Rev Buama asked Christians to expect "to be knocked down but must refuse to be knocked out". He urged Christians to "affirm, embrace and celebrate life, because Christ is alive. We are not following a dead hero rather we are following a living hero".

Rev Buama urged Christians to encourage each other to be strong in faith and the resurrection of Christ as they confronted life. He dedicated the centenary Chapel at Klefe-Todzi under the name "Salem (Nutifafa)" E.P. Church.

A fundraising to support projects initiated as part of the centenary celebration, yielded 1,824.85 Ghana cedis.
