Duadaso Launches 120mC Development Programme

Duadaso Number Two(B/A) The people of Duadaso Number Two in the Jaman district have launched a three-year development programme estimated at 120 million cedis. Under the programme, the people intend to renovate their local

primary schools, rehabilitate the bridge between Duadaso Number Two and Kokoa, and embark on an electrification project. Nana Kwaku Duku Ababio, chief of the town, made this known at a general meeting with his sub-chiefs, unit committee members, and the youth at Duadaso. Nana Ababio, who is also the Mponuahene of the Sampa traditional area, said the projects would be financed through individual contributions and fund-raising activities.

He appealed to the Jaman District Assembly to provide them with 100 electricity poles to support the project. Mr Felix Manu, zonal supervisor of the non-formal education division in the area, appealed to non-resident citizens of the town to pay regular visits home and make material and financial contributions towards the projects.

He also appealed to the Department of Feeder Roads to help repair the Duadaso-Kokoa bridge to facilitate the smooth movement of goods and services.
