Dr. Appiah-Nyarko Give ?17m to St. Joseph's Hospital

A Ghanaian neuro-surgeon resident in Florida, USA, Dr. Richard Appiah-Nyarko, has donated a cash of ?17.39million to the Saint Joseph Hospital at Effiduase, near Koforidua.

Presenting the cash on behalf of the neuro-surgeon, Nana Kwabena Aduam IV a.k.a. Maxwell Appiah-Nyarko, explained that the donation (money) was to support the hospital in curing neurological and orthopaedic diseases.

The hospital administrator, who received the cheque for the hospital, Reverend Brother Joseph Viadeero, thanked the donor and promised that the money would be put to good use. He called on other philanthropists and other donors to emulate Dr. Nyarko's example.
