Chinese Severely Wound Ghanaian Worker

Police have arrested two Chinese managers of the Harbin Restaurant and Casino at Teshie, in Accra, for injuring a worker with a bottle. The Chinese men, named Stephen Zu and Zhang John, are said to have accused their employee of stealing 300,000 cedis and some items. The employee, named as Rockson, denied the charge but his two bosses allegedly forced him into a small room where he was beaten up by about six Chinese men.

He was hit in the head with a bottle which inflicted deep cuts in his skull. The two Chinese men were arrested and detained when the matter was brought to the attention of police. The victim is receiving treatment, but he is said to be in a critical condition.
