CATHOLIC SCHOOL TOP THEM ALL

Apam(C/R), Jan. 29, The Apam Catholic Primary school won the special five school football comeptition organised by the Apam Football Association (AFA) at the weekend.

The other participants for the giant trophy, donated by Apam citizens based in Italy were the Catholic, Methodist, Salvation Army, Anglican and Royal Preparatory primary schools. Addressing the teams, Mr I.J.K. Ayetey, Gomoa District Sports organiser, said football has become very lucrative and urged the youth in the area to take it seriously. He commended the teams for their brilliant performance and urged them to keep it up.
