Ghanaian champions Ashgold SC have been handed the toughest draw in the CAF Champions League as they will play Algerian side MO Bejaia in the preliminary stage of the competition.
The Miners will host the conquerors of Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko in the first-leg most likely to be played in Obuasi if the venue is approved by CAF.
The first-leg has been scheduled for 12-14 February 2016 with the return match to be played two weeks later in Algeria.
The Obuasi-based club's path to the much desired group phase of the competition has been made even tougher by the fact that they will play the winner of the match between Tunisian giants Club Africain and Ivorian club A.S. Tanda.
