Atta Mills Brotherhood International inaugurated

Accra, May 16, GNA - Mr Henry Sonnie Provencal, National Chairman of the Atta Mills Brotherhood International (AMBI), on Tuesday called for support for the candidacy of vice-president John Atta Mills and the NDC.

He said the AMBI was established to broaden the support base for the Vice-President by mobilising Nkrumaists and others to supplement the NDC'svotes.

Mr Provencal, who was inaugurating the Greater Accra Regional branch of the AMBI, appealed to members to show political maturity at all times. He assured the NDC that the AMBI does not have any hidden agendawhatsoever.

Mr Provencal appealed to all genuine Nkrumaists to desist from being driven into a paper war by political opponents. "We are matured brothers of the Nkrumaist CPP tradition and would strive at all times not to allow ourselves to be driven into paper war conflicts as this would bring an embarrassment to the leadership of the NDC."

A 12-member regional executive under the chairmanship of Mr Johnson Asare was sworn into office.
