Asante Kotoko Libya squad to face G-6 Squad on Sun

Kumasi Asante Kotoko will treat their teeming fans to some good football come Sunday at the Baba Yara stadium when they played a match between themselves to determine the best team.

According to officials of the Club, the team that won the maiden FirsTrust G-6 tournament will pitch their strength against their colleagues who were in Libya for friendly matches against Al Ittihad, in an encounter between the two teams on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Kickoff is 3pm. The gate fees are GH?5 flat for all stands except the VIP which is GH?10.

On the bench for the triumphant G-6 team will be Assistant Coach Michael Osei while Head Coach David Duncan will be in charge of the Libya squad. It will be interesting to see which side carries the day in what is being described in some quarters as “The Big Friendly Showdown”.

Players available for selection by the G-team are Eric Ofori Antwi, Ernest Sowah, Attah Kusi, Samuel Kyere, Joe Henry, Evans Quao, Ohene Brenya, Kwadwo Opoku, Benette Ofori, Stephen Nyarko, Elvis Amoh, Douglas Owusu Ansah, Michael Yeboah, Gyedu Reagan, Adzeko Mandela, Halipha Sedogo and Edwin Tuffour Frimpong.

For the Libya squad we have: Felix Annan, Kaisan Yuisu, Ahmed Adams, Richard Agyemang, Manu Opoku Richmond, Amos Frimpong, Theophilus Nyame, Jackson Owusu, Amos Frimpong, Stephen Oduro, Akwasi Nti, Agyenim Boateng, Frank Sarfo Gyamfi, Obed Owusu, Dauda Mohammed and Eric Donkor.
