Arsenal announce deals for Ghana youth duo

Arsenal have formally announced the signing of Ghana youth duo Jordi Osei-Tutu and Edward Nketiah, as well as 12 other youngsters, who have signed scholarship forms ahead of the 2015/16 season.

Defender Jordi Osei-Tutu spent eight years learning his trade at Championship side Reading but has moved to Arsenal's academy to continue his footballing education.

Edward Nketiah, who has been with the club since last season, is amongst names who signed scholarships deals with the North London club.

Also signing professional contracts were young strikers Marcus Agyei-Tabi, Tolaji Bola, Joshua Dasilva, Vlad Dragomir, Yassin Fortune, Charlie Gilmour, Kostas Pileas, Nathan Tella and Joseph Willock have all signed as First Year Scholars.

Arsenal who won the FA Cup last season and finished third in the top flight, scoring 71 goals in the process, have a rich history of bringing through young prospects at the club and gave chances to the likes of Hector Bellerin and Francis Coquelin, last term, who were both established members of the first team by the end of the campaign.
