The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Joseph Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo and Member of Parliament for Tema East, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover last Saturday virtually turned the Tema Kpelejo festival into campaign grounds, canvassing for their respective presidential candidates at the same time.

The two politicians joined the Chiefs and people of the Tema Traditional Area to celebrate Kpelejo ahead of this year's Homowo festival.
The Greater Accra Regional Minister said the NDC will win this year's general elections hands down.

According to him, considering the hard work of the NDC led by John Dramani Mahama culminating in the massive infrastructural development, particularly in the health and educational sectors as well as the road network across the country, the party will obtain a resounding victory come November 7 2016.

Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo noted that much as the NDC is in government, it will not countenance any individual or group of persons who will attempt to rig or resort to foul means to win the elections.

In a swift rebuttal, Member of Parliament for Tema East, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover implored all Ghanaians to vote Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo -Addo led NPP into power to reshape the country's destiny. He said considering the present living condition of Ghanaians, it is expedient for Ghanaians to bring back the NPP to power to put this country on track.

He called on the government and for that matter the National Premix Fuel Committee to provide enough premix fuel for the Fisher folks as that remains one major bane to their fishing business.

He therefore called on every Ghanaian who has turned 18 and above to register in the limited voter's registration exercise slated for April 28 to May 8 to enable them decide the destiny of the nation come November 7.
