Aduana Stars captain Emmanuel Akuoko has expressed interest in playing alongside Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan in the Chinese Super League if the opportunity avails itself.

The ideology of giving the Chinese Super League the needed attention seems to be working as the signing of Asamoah Gyan has ignited interest among many local Ghanaian footballers.

The 26 year old Aduana Stars captain lauded the move by the ex-Sunderland striker and expressed interest in joining him in the Chinese league should the opportunity come.

“If clubs in China will express interest in me, why not? I will grab the opportunity to play there. They have money and that is important. Asamoah is one of the luckiest Ghanaian players. All must know that whatever we do in this world is for our daily bread so the money is important”, Akuoko said.

“We are all playing for the money. That is why we are working. Nobody works just for working sake. We all work to make our living so I will welcome any invitation from China”, Akuoko added.

Asamoah Gyan signed a mega contract with Shanghai SPIG which will see him take home $279, 000 after tax every week
