Adomah scores, Majeed Waris’ reckless tackle and more

In the English Premier League, Abdul Baba Rahman was an unused substitute as his Chelsea side were beaten by three goals to one at home to Liverpool.

Andre Ayew played the entire game against Arsenal for Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium. Ayew’s home side were convincingly defeated by three goals to nil with visitors Arsenal taking all three points.

Jeffrey Schlupp and his Leicester City team recorded a 3-2 victory on the road against West Bromwich Albion after going down by a goal first. The Ghanaian defender played in the entire duration of the game for Leicester City.

Christian Atsu missed AFC Bournemouth’s 2-0 defeat against Southampton away from home. The Ghanaian has returned to parent club Chelsea to receive treatment on an injury in a bid to return to full fitness.

Albert Adomah helped his Middlesbrough side take all three points on home soil with a convincing 3-0 victory against visiting Charlton Athletic. The Ghanaian forward who played the full game scored the second of the three goals in the victory for Middlesbrough.

In the Italian Serie A, Afriyie Acquah played the full game against Kwadwo Asamoah’s Juventus when his Torino side visited the champions. Acquah and his team mates lost the game by two goals to one with the Ghana international receiving a yellow card booking. Kwadwo Asamoah is out injured and was not involved in the game for wining side Juventus.

Godfred Donsah played 61 minutes for Bologna in their home game against Atalanta. The Ghanaian and his team mates scored three goals without reply to claim all three points on home soil.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu and Alfred Duncan played the full game in their face-off for the game between Udinese and Sassuolo. The home game for Udinese ended in a goalless draw.

Wakaso Mubarak missed Las Palmas 3-1 away defeat to Real Madrid in the Spanish La Liga.

Bernard Mensah had 10 minutes of playing time as his Getafe side were beaten at home by 2-0 against Barcelona. The Ghanaian replaced Juan Rodriguez in the 80th minute of the game when his side were already two goals down.

In the French Ligue 1, Abdul Majeed Waris was sent off for a reckless tackle in FC Lorient’s game against Guingamp. The two French clubs shared the spoils with a 2-2 score line at full time.

Dennis Appiah played the full game for Caen in their one nil defeat away from home to SC Bastia.

Enock Kofi Adu had full minutes for his Malmoe FF side who were handed a 2-0 home defeat by IFK Norrkoeping.

In the Belgium Pro League, Frank Acheampong was introduced for the last 20 minutes of the game as his Anderlecht side won by two goals to nil to Mouscron-Peruwelz.

Samuel Inkoom was not involved in Boavista’s home game against Maritimo in the Portuguese league.

Daniel Amartey had the full duration of FC Koebenhavn’s game against Randers FC under his belt. Keobenhavn who were playing at home thrashed Randers FC by four goals to nil.

Ebenezer Assifuah played 54 minutes for Sion in Switzerland as they lost on the road by three goals without reply against Lugano. The Ghanaian received a yellow card booking in the game.
