Abeiku on his way out of Kotoko

Asante Kotoko defender Abeiku Ainooson has arrived inOmdurman - Sudan, to undergo medicals and complete his move to Al Hilal, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

Ainooson, 25, touched down inKhartoum on Saturday afternoon and picked up to Al Hilal base in Omdurman where he underwent medicals on Sunday ahead of signing a long-term contract.

The former New Edubiase United defender, who has spent two seasons with Asante Kotoko, will be joined at the club by former Ghana U20 defender Baba Mensah.

GHANAsoccernet.com broke the news of Ainooson's move to Al Hilal but the defender laughed off the reports claiming there was no deal in the pipeline.

Mensah was voted by Best Defender in the Ghana Premier League by the Premier League Board.
