Asante Kotoko have confirmed that Abeiku Ainooson's move to Al Hilal is a loan agreement worth $30,000.

The defender signed a contract to become the latest acquisition for the Sudanese club who have also signed Ghanaian midfielder Kennedy Ashia.

Ainooson was unveiled to the media at a signing-on ceremony in Omdurman on Thursday.

Initial reports suggested the former New Edubiase man's move was a permanent but Asante Kotoko have clarified it is only a one-year loan deal.

It is a loan deal which starts on November 17, 2015 to October 31, 2016, Kotokos spokesman Kwaku Ahenkorah told GHANAsoccernet.com.

The amount involved is $30,000 and he will return to the club when the loan expires.

Ainooson joined Kotoko two season from New Edubiase.

He had a stellar debut season with the Porcupine Warriors to earn the award as the Best Defender in the Ghanaian top flight in the 2013/14 season.
