A disabled man believed to be in his late 40’s was spotted among protesters at the ‘Aagbe Wo’ demonstration, Thursday morning.

The man who gave his name as Ola said he came all the way from Teshie to join the demonstration.

It is unusual to see persons with disability join in politically motivated demonstrations like this apart from those which are organised by persons like himself to register their displeasure.

According to him and like many others, the violent nature of the just ended by-election at the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency needs to be condemned and perpetrators brought to book.

“If something should happen in this country, where will I run to, I am relegated to this wheelchair, where will I go, what will I do,” he cried.

Ola said, the kidnappings, the violence and the rampant killings in the country must be stopped.

“I call on the president and the leadership of this country to restore peace, we need peace, and Ghana is a peaceful country,” he said.
