43-year-old farmer defile two and half year old girl

A 43-year-old farmer, Norbed Adeb Kabre of 'Sui-bo cottage,' near Dadieso in the Western region is in the grips of the Dadieso Police for allegedly defiling a two-and-half year old girl.

The station officer of the Dadieso Police, Chief Inspector A. C. Frempong and Detective Corporal A. C. Ahiaku, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that on January 1 this year, the victim was playing with other children in front of the suspect's house.

They said the mother of the girl started looking for her after she finished cooking the New Year's meal but she could not trace her.

The Police said the victim's mother heard her little girl crying loudly and coming out of Kabre's room with her panties in her hands.

The woman, who suspected foul deal, reported the matter to the Police who sent the victim to the Enchi government hospital where she was treated and discharged.

Meanwhile further investigations are being conducted into the case the Police added.
