$1m budget for Ashgold's Africa campaign

Ashantigold CEO Kudjoe Fianu has confirmed his board has approved a $1 million budget for the CAF Champions League.

“Ashgold board of directors has approved our budget of $1 million for our preparation towards the CAF Champions League next season,” he told Kumasi-based Nhyira FM.

In relation to that he tasked the supporters of the Miners to be calm and support the team next season.

The Miners extended the contract of their head coach Bashir Hayford on a two-year deal Friday after guiding the club to win last season’s Ghana Premier League.

The Obuasi-based club has already secured the signing of Dauda Mohammed, Nuhu Fuseini, and Alhasan Nuhu ahead of next season’s league and the CAF Champions League competition.
