16mC Clinic Commissioned At Bukonor

Bukubnor (E/R), Aug. 27, -- A 16-million-cedi community clinic has been commissioned at Bukonor Junction, near Oterkpolu in the Yilo Krobo District. Nine villages will benefit from the clinic which comprises a consulting room and dispensary. World Vision International provided building materials for the project while the people offered communal work. Mr Daniel Tekpetey, Member of Parliament for Yilo Krobo constituency, in an address commended WVI for its humanitarian services. He asked the people not to wait until their conditions are helpless before rushing to the clinic. Nene Narh Dongoyu, Yilo Krobo District Chief Executive, advised the community to maintain the clinic. Mr Ishmael Korletey, Assembly member for Oterkpolu Electoral area, appealed to the government to send qualified personnel to man the clinic.
