The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Tarkwa Nsueam, Mrs. Christina Kobinah, has entreated the media to eschew negative conduct that could affect national development.
She said though journalists have worked hard to propagate the achievements of government, there was the need for them to be circumspect, disciplined and decent in the discharge of their duties.
Mrs. Kobinah said these at a press soiree, organised for media personnel in Tarkwa Nsueam and Takoradi in the Western Region.
She asked the media to continue to support government to achieve its vision, and pledged to assist the media to address their challenges.
The presiding member of Tarkwa Nsueam Assembly, Mr. Moses Ackah, appealed to Ghanaians to unite and work hard for progress.
