Sekoti Junior High School adopts Extra Classes

Sekoti (UE), Jan. 31, GNA - Mr James Nabii Debase, headmaster of Sekoti Junior High School (JHS)in the Talensi- Nabdam District of the Upper East Region on Tuesday said the school had extended teaching hours to help the students learn better and improve their performance at the Basic Education Certificate examination (BECE).

Not deterred by the low number of teachers, Mr Nabii said the school presented 19 candidates for the 2010 /11 BECE and came up in the first position in the District.

He said this was made possible through the hard work of the teachers, adding "I hope they would work harder and prepare the current 28 candidates for the 2011/12 BECE".
