Insults rained on President Mills is bad - DCE

Kasoa, Nov. 30, GNA - Mr Adam Nuhu, Awutu Senya District Chief Executive, has expressed concern about the rate at which insults and insinuations are being levelled against President John Atta Mills and his administration by some Ghanaians, describing the situation as unfortunate and culturally un-Ghanaian.

He said no one was infallible and saw no reason why the culprits could not channel their grievances through the right quarters for redress but chose to vent their steam through crude and vulgar language. Mr Nuhu who expressed the concern when he addressed a congregation of the Kpormitey branch of the Apostolic Church of Ghana last Sunday, advised those who took to such habits to refrain from it because their actions had adverse implications on the country's body politic. He also said the government, particularly President Mills, attached great importance to churches because of heir capacity to reform people and ability to create a peaceful atmosphere congenial for good governance. Mr Nuhu appealed to all religious bodies to pray for the peace of the nation and the general well-being of the population.
