Raise image of school with decent lifestyles- Headmaster

Mozano (C/R), May 23, GNA - Nana Duku Awusi X, Mankrado of Gomoa-Adzentem, and Headmaster of Mozano Senior High School, has advised graduates of various Senior High Schools in the country to lead decent lifestyles that would raise the image of their respective institutions. He was delivering a sermon to round off a special non-denominational church service organized by the management of the school for the 393 final year students of the School at Mozano in Central Region.

Nana Duku Awusi told students of the various Senior High Schools who will be leaving their campuses soon for good that, as they were preparing to face the challenges of life, they should not forget that any deviant behaviour they might put up will go a long way to tarnish the image of their former schools.

They should therefore strive to avoid peer pressure and other negative acts such as "Sakawa", promiscuity, peddling and addiction of narcotic drugs and armed robbery in order to promote the excellent moral qualities imparted to them during their active school days. Nana Awusi further counselled them to assist their parents and guardians pursue their businesses and agricultural ventures while waiting for their results.

This way, they would be helping their parents to generate adequate funds to prepare the grounds for the next step of their educational pursuits as soon as the results were released. He said that any attempt to misapply such precious time will undermine their future development.

Nana Awusi, who is also known in private life as Mr Emmanuel Christopher Acquah, and a board member of Panfokrom Women's Training Institute, appealed to parents whose children could not make it to tertiary institutions to offer them technical and vocational training to make them useful to society.

On behalf of the management of Mozano Senior High School and the staff, Nana Duku Awusi expressed appreciation to parents and guardians for co-operating with the school authorities. Awards were presented to deserving student leaders.
