Party agents warn not to give false statements on polling day

Agona Swedru (C/R), Nov. 30, GNA - Mr Serebour Quaicoe, Agona District Electoral Officer, has warned party agents, to refrain from all acts that could cast a doubt on the authenticity of Election 2004. He said it was an offence for any of them to provide false information on the Statement of Poll to be issued to them on the polling day.

Mr Quaicoe gave the warning when he addressed members of the District Inter-Party Advisory Committee Members at Swedru, as part of preparations towards the Elections.

He said the about 210 people from Agona West and Agona East Constituencies, who have applied for the transfer of their votes would be able to do so on Friday December 3.

The Agona Nyakrom District Police Commander, Deputy Superintendent of Police, H. H. Afful warned that Police would deal with anybody whose conduct would undermine peace and stability.
