The Acting National Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has resigned from his position with immediate effect.
The firebrand NPP communicator, kasapafmonline.com understands prefers to be with masses instead of being confined to office duties.
“I want to be with the masses. I cannot be sitting in the office and all the time meetings upon meetings and things are going wrong. The party leadership should understand me … It is not anger. The party should bear with me”, MyNewsGh.com quoted him as saying following his interview with Accra-based Neat FM, Thursday, September 13, 2018.
In the view of Mr. Baafi who is known in the political circles as ‘Lawyer Adomako Baafi’, the new executives of the party should have made some appointments after their National Delegates Congress in Koforidua but to no avail.
No more interested in being confined to the office, the NPP communicator said the best thing for him to do is to tender in his resignation to compel the new leadership to appoint someone to occupy the position.
By so doing, he could then join his colleagues at the grassroots to strengthen their front.
The new executives of the party, according to inside sources, are expected to have a meeting on Friday, September 14, 2018 to appoint a new Director of Communications.
