The statement which was issued to mark International Women’s day congratulated female leaders all over the World and in Ghana for their hard work.
“As today makes International Women’s day, I would like to use this day to say a very big ayekoo to all women who have made it this far .This day as it is being celebrated is a day of sober reflection of our past, present and the way forward in order to re-brand ourselves to create the changes we seek and also make an impact in our world “she stated.
She called on government to pay more attention to the needs and issues regarding women since women were the most vulnerable in the country.
