Gabby Concedes Nana Addo’s Defeat

Ahead of Next Friday’s Presidential Elections

…As he now depends on divine intervention

The flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who is prancing every corner of the country busily canvassing for votes should be revising his notes as his nephew, Gabby Asare Otchere Darko is highly convinced that “it will be extremely, if not impossible for Nana Akufo-Addo to overcome popular president, John Mahama ahead of next week’s elections”
As if sensing this unbearable news come-December 7, Mr. Otchere Darko earlier on this year vowed to quit politics, ostensibly, in the event that his uncle, Nana Akufo-Addo fails to win next week’s polls.
Gabby, as he is affectionately called disclosed this in conversations at a strategic meeting involving close confidants of the NPP party flag bearer, Nana Akufo-Addo recently, and made available to The Al-Hajj.
In one such conversation, a source told The Al-Hajj that Gabby admitted that the Presidential candidate of the ruling National Democratic Congress, President John Mahama has so much political clout that it will come as a surprise to him if his uncle go pass President Mahama at the polls.
“Aside the so-called development projects the NDC are touting as their achievements to woo voters to their side; the personality of John Mahama at the end of the day is also playing an important trick for them. It will be difficult beating a party seeking a second mandate. Let’s be honest with ourselves, the death of Professor Mills in no doubt is also another positive factor for them. Everything seems not to be in our favor. All the indications are pointing to our opponents” Gabby was heard saying.
This latest admission by Gabby lends credence to polls that has been conducted by independent research firms like the London based Economic Intelligence Unit, Synovate, Bureau of National Investigation, African Watch Magazine which has all placed the NDC ahead of the NPP.
Aside the polls, renowned spiritual and religious leaders have also cast doubt of Nana Akufo-Addo’s political efforts yielding any positive dividends come December 7.
In the wake of this confessions, a leading member of the NPP and a former Communication Director of Nana Akufo-Addo’s 2008 campaign team, Kobina Arthur Kennedy has also been heard on tape telling an assembled group of people that no incumbent party in the fourth republic had lost a re-election bid and that it would therefore be difficult for the NPP to upstage the NDC on December 7.
Flying in the face of these glaring indications and frustration, it is just proper that Gabby in a subtle manner has sought to count on the Lord Almighty to turn things around in their favor, thus the declaration on Joy Fm’s current affairs program ‘Decision Time’ that ‘the battle is the Lord’s’
The NPP spin doctor, apparently out of desperation told Paul Adom Otchere, host of Wednesdays’ edition of Joy FM’s Decision 2012 that they are counting on God to win the 2012 General elections. He however insist the NPP will not allow itself to be deterred by what he refers to as the treachery, lies, deceit and propaganda being peddled by the ruling NDC.

“The battle is the Lord’s but we need people to break the Jericho walls of propaganda and lies,” Gabby added.
Indications are that the flag bearer himself is aware of all these revelations, hence his recent visits to Men of God to intercede on his behalf for God to turns his political ‘blights’ into blessings for him in the upcoming election.
