Spits On Otumfuor
A leopard can never change its spots; and in like manner, Akufo-Addo can NEVER change his disrespectful, arrogant, abusive and violent nature.
The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer is a personification of violence; and once again has put on display his arrogance and violent nature when the Leaders of the political parties gathered in Kumasi yesterday for the Peace Confab.
Akufo-Addo showed gross disrespect to Otumfuor Osei Tutu II when he(Akufo Addo) chose to snub the Ashanti Chief when he met the Leaders behind closed doors.
According to John Abdulai Jinapor, Spokesperson for His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, Akufo-Addo snubbed Otumfuor by refusing to speak when the Ashanti Chief met the Leaders.
Speaking to Agoo FM’s Nana Kwabena Bobbiee Ansah, John Jinapor expressed a lot of disgust at the way Akufo-Addo grossly mis-conducted himself in the presence of the Overlord of the Ashanti Region.
Apparently, during the closed-door session, the Leaders were asked to voice their feelings on issues that may be bothering them for such issues to be examined and possibly incorporated into the final communiqué.
Per the report, all the Leaders, except Akufo-Addo, spoke.
Akufo-Addo obviously has no respect for Otumfuor and so chose to ignore his closed-door meeting and rather disgraced himself on the bigger platform when he unwisely attacked President John Mahama instead of preaching a message of peace.
Given the opportunity to preach a message of PEACE, Akufo-Addo chose to go on an attacking spree.
In his violent nature, Akufo-Addo unwisely chose to leave the log in his eyes and go for the speck in the eyes of President John Mahama.
Instead of Akufo-Addo pledging not to breathe life into his “all-die-be-die” war cry, and also condemn the likes of Kennedy Agyepong, Sammy “wormafunu” Awuku, and Anthony “Afghanistan” Karbo, the NPP flagbearer went off tangent and attacked President Mahama in a very unwarranted way.
It is no secret that Akufo-Addo and some of his Akyem mafia have no respect for Otumfuor Osei Tutu II, and the gross misconduct of the NPP flagbearer is not surprising.
For a fact, Akufo-Addo recently refused to pay homage to the Asantehene when the latter visited Kumasi to engage in some politicking.
Indeed, it is not a secret that Akufo-Addo is planning to make the Okyenhene the most “important” chief in Ghana in the unlikely event that he (Akufo Addo) becomes President of Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana.
It cannot be forgotten on readers mind how the Okyenhene embarrassed the Asantehene some years ago when the Tepahene represented Otumfuor at the funeral of the late chief of Akropong.
It would be recalled that the Okyenehen ordered his “military” aides to fire into the palanquin of the Tepahene, to prove that Okyenman was superior to Asanteman.
Akufo-Addo is a big threat to the unity of Ghana and in the unlikely event that he becomes President of Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana, only God knows the way this country will go up in flames.
